In a world where lasting love often feels fleeting, Woli Agba and his wife are celebrating nine remarkable years together. Reflecting on their journey, the comedian shared intimate memories on social media, revealing a story of faith, dedication, and partnership that has strengthened with time.
“Years ago, we began a journey that has proven that a tree cannot make a forest. And in the same way, one good partner alone cannot make a good marriage. It takes two hearts, two minds, and two committed souls working together to build something beautiful,” Woli Agba wrote, setting the tone for a deeply personal celebration.
The couple’s bond was forged through intention and faith, as he recalled a defining moment just a week after their wedding while on a plane. “Olaife, let’s make this work. This marriage must work. This home must stand. You have your role to play, and I have mine. This is a journey into forever, and we must be intentional about it.” She responded with unwavering trust, saying, “Honey, God will help us.” Nine years later, Woli Agba reflects with gratitude, saying, “God truly has helped us.”
His appreciation extends beyond his wife to her family. “One of my first prayers is for your parents. May God bless them for raising such an incredible woman and giving me a wife like you,” he said, acknowledging the foundation that shaped their life together.
Over nearly a decade, they have navigated life’s seasons with grace and unity. From shared victories to quiet moments of understanding, their partnership has thrived.
Woli Agba also celebrates the small gestures that nurture their marriage: “Whenever I travel and people try to treat me to Nigerian delicacies like Amala and Gbegiri, I often tell them, ‘Let me enjoy the food of this land, I eat like a king at home.’ You don’t wait for special occasions to make me feel special. From Gbegiri to Egbo, Ikokore to salads; my table is always full, and so is my heart.”
He concluded with a heartfelt dedication:
“Olaife mi, I dedicate these nine beautiful years to you. One of the greatest gifts my father gave me before he passed was reaffirming that you are truly my wife, and for that, I remain forever grateful. Thank you for our wonderful children. Thank you for making me more handsome than when you met me and yes even for my wardrobe! Thank you for making marriage sweet. My Gist Partner, it’s been a good ride with you O baebie bae. Oshey o Modupe Iyawo mi. May God keep this home blessed, now and forever, Amen and amen.”
Their journey is a testament to the power of shared effort, faith, and love, showing that a strong marriage is built not by one, but by two committed hearts working in harmony.
