Geh Geh’s sister has publicly addressed ongoing claims circulating across social media that she received ₦5 million from her brother, firmly rejecting the allegation and stating that the information being shared is inaccurate. Her response comes amid continued online discussions about financial support within the family and growing attention around recent events involving different members of the household.

In a video posted on X, she took time to clarify what she described as repeated misunderstandings and misinformation spreading about her financial situation. According to her, the only support she has received so far is a much smaller amount, which she linked to a public fundraising effort.
“Please, I am making this video to clear the air. They didn’t send me any ₦5 million. The only money I have received so far is ₦1 million, and it is through Madam Obidi. I did not receive ₦5 million from my brother, abeg.

People have been coming to my DMs asking me to send them ₦3k, ₦2k, saying they haven’t eaten. I am a poor man’s child, I am struggling. I didn’t receive any ₦5 million, abeg.

That is why you are not supposed to believe everything people say. Your favourites might be lying, and you still support them because they are your favourites. They didn’t give me ₦5 million. Nobody sent me ₦5 million. The only money I have received is ₦1 million, and it is through Madam Obidi.”

Her comments appear to be a direct response to claims that gained traction online shortly after earlier conversations involving her and Geh Geh surfaced. The situation first drew public attention when she spoke about her personal experiences, including claims of hardship and exclusion during a family-related event. Those earlier remarks sparked widespread reactions, with many social media users debating the expectations placed on individuals who gain public visibility.

As discussions continued, different versions of the story began to circulate, including suggestions that she had received substantial financial assistance from her brother. The latest clarification now challenges those claims and attempts to correct what she describes as false information being widely shared.

The involvement of feminist commentator Obidi also remains part of the wider conversation, as she was previously linked to a livestream fundraising effort that generated ₦1 million in support for Geh Geh’s sister. That event played a role in bringing public attention to her situation, especially after her initial call-out of Geh Geh gained traction online.

Social media reactions to the situation have been mixed, with users responding to both her denial and the earlier claims circulating about the family. The conversation reflects a broader pattern where personal disputes involving public figures often become widely discussed online, sometimes leading to conflicting narratives and confusion over verified details.
At the centre of the ongoing discussion is the challenge of separating confirmed information from assumptions shared across platforms. While different accounts continue to circulate, Geh Geh’s sister has maintained her position that the ₦5 million claim is false and not reflective of what she has received.

For now, the situation remains part of an unfolding online discussion, with attention focused on clarifying details as more statements emerge from those involved.
