Nigerian singer and songwriter, Seyi Shay, has revealed how Afrobeats superstar Wizkid played a significant role in shaping her career and teaching her how to navigate the complexities of the Nigerian music industry.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast on Monday, October 6, 2025, the “Irawo” crooner opened up about her early working relationship with Wizkid, describing him as a creative mentor and genuine friend who helped her understand the workings of fame and the entertainment world.
