Nigerian singer Portable and his fourth babymama, Ashabi, have reportedly reconciled after previous disputes over her upcoming trip to South Africa. The two, whose relationship has been tumultuous over the past two years, appear to have settled their differences, much to the surprise of fans and social media users.
The reconciliation became evident when Portable, who had previously fought with Ashabi over the trip, promoted it on his Instagram page. He shared a flyer announcing her visit to Cape Town, South Africa, scheduled for October 15, 2025, along with details of the event.

Fans reacted to the announcement with a mix of amusement, support, and skepticism. One user, adewalesammy001, commented, “Fight don finish. Despite the public display of reconciliation, Portable’s past grievances with Ashabi were well-documented. He even described Ashabi as the “mistake” of his life, claiming she was responsible for driving away one of his exes, Queen Dami.
Reacting to his outbursts, Ashabi noted that this was not the first time Portable had publicly dragged her. She asked the public to treat the situation as if nothing had happened and cautioned against unsolicited advice. She also highlighted how their ongoing disputes had been misrepresented, making her look like a failure.
Not stopping there, Portable went live on TikTok to warn the public about Ashabi’s activities, particularly her promotion of brands linked to wealthy men. He revealed that despite his repeated attempts to stop her trip—by trying to get her pregnant—his efforts had been unsuccessful.
“The relationship between Portable and Ashabi has been tumultuous over the past two years, since they went public with their love amid the singer’s marriage. However, the lovebirds continue to settle their fights and stick together,” a source noted.
Their rocky history dates back to June, when Portable publicly accused Ashabi of trying to turn his wife against him. He claimed she had been spreading negativity about him to his spouse and accused her of seeking clout through his marriage. According to him, her actions were a source of conflict and tension in his home.
Despite all the drama, the latest developments suggest that Portable and Ashabi have managed to find common ground, at least temporarily, ahead of her South Africa trip. Fans are now watching closely to see whether the peace will hold or if further disputes will arise.
