Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia has broken his silence regarding the end of his marriage to actress and model Annie Idibia. In a candid statement, the legendary singer expressed that both he and Annie made every effort to make their relationship work, but ultimately, they had to accept that some things are beyond love and effort.
"Annie and I truly gave our marriage our best shot," Tuface said, acknowledging the dedication and energy they both put into maintaining their union.
While the news of their separation has sparked widespread speculation among fans and the media, Tuface made it clear that he is not ready to divulge specific details about the reasons behind the breakup.
"Why we’re no longer together isn’t something I’m ready to discuss publicly — the only people I owe that explanation to are my kids," he added, pointing out that their children’s well-being remains his top priority.

"Sadly, many couples are stuck in unhappy marriages, living like prisoners," he stated, adding a sobering perspective on how societal expectations often pressure people into staying in broken relationships. "Marriage shouldn’t be forced when it’s clearly not working."
