The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is proud to announce the successful unveiling of its Abuja National Headquarters, including the AGN National Office prototype and the AGN Super, all executed seamlessly in one day. This milestone marks a new era of progress, unity, and vision for the Nigerian creative industry.
Speaking on Monday, the President of AGN, Emeka Rollas, expressed deep gratitude and excitement over the historic achievement, which he described as a testament to divine support and collective commitment.
“The new week started with me still basking in the euphoria of the success of our latest achievement,” Rollas said. “If God is not with the Watchman, he watched in vain. Congratulations to us! What God cannot do does not exist.”
He extended heartfelt appreciation to all who supported the initiative, especially the Honourable Minister for Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Barr. Hanatu Musawa, and Shuaibu Hussein, Executive Director of the Film and Video Censors Board. Rollas also acknowledged the presence and encouragement of Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, the U.S. Consulate, the Embassy of Belgium, and the entire Nollywood community.
“We are grateful to all actors in Nigeria who believe in our vision. Your unwavering support continues to drive the Guild forward,” he said.
The AGN president also highlighted the importance of the new infrastructure as a beacon of progress for the Nigerian entertainment industry, offering actors nationwide a stronger voice and structure.
