Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has provided a crucial update regarding the whereabouts of veteran actress Jumoke George’s daughter, Adeola, who was previously reported missing.
In a recent interview with Biola, Jumoke revealed that her 41-year-old daughter had been missing for the past four years. However, on Wednesday, Biola took to her Instagram page to share a positive development.
According to the update, Adeola has been located in Mali, although she has yet to reconnect with her mother. Biola expressed concern over Adeola’s silence and noted that she has not been answering phone calls, which has caused additional worry for her family.
“UPDATE!
Adeola has been spotted in Mali.
Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital, but she will be happy to speak with her at least.
I’ve tried calling her, but she has not been picking up anyone’s calls, and her mom is really worried,” Biola wrote.
The Citizens’ Rescue Corps (CRC), which has been handling the investigation, confirmed that Adeola is alive and well. They stated that she left Nigeria in pursuit of better opportunities and is currently working toward her goals in Mali.
While the discovery brings some relief, the family remains eager for direct communication and hopes Adeola will soon reach out to her mother.
