Popular Nigerian singer and former BBNaija winner, Laycon, has publicly called out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalties for their collaborative track Nobody (Icons Remix).
Laycon, in a viral post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, expressed his frustration over the issue, stating that DJ Neptune has yet to pay him for his contribution to the song.

The reality star emphasized the importance of adhering to agreements in the music industry and accused Neptune of remaining silent on the matter for four years.
"Abeg o, DJ Neptune how far my agreement and split for the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’ song though. Is it not still ready? Haba it’s been 4 years," Laycon wrote, highlighting the long delay in resolving the issue.

The track in question, Nobody (Icons Remix), also featured Joeboy and was released in October 2020. It was dedicated to Laycon's fans, known as "Icons," following his victory in the Big Brother Naija reality show.
As of now, DJ Neptune has not responded to Laycon’s allegations. The situation has sparked discussions among fans and industry insiders about the importance of fair compensation and transparency in music collaborations.
