Popular Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has made serious accusations against fellow artist Davido, claiming that the superstar orchestrated his arrest on charges of defamation.

Dammy Krane, who has had a long-standing feud with Davido, expressed fear for his safety, urging the public to hold Davido accountable if anything happens to him.
"If anything happens to me, @davido should be held responsible. Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me," he wrote. He also stated, "They wrote a petition, lying that I am into Flutterwave & Crypto scams just to arrest me. This is how they keep using the bad cops to spoil the name of the police."

The tension between Dammy Krane and Davido dates back to 2023 when Dammy Krane publicly called out Davido over an alleged unpaid debt. In response, Davido labeled him as ungrateful, which further fueled the animosity between the two artists.
