SZA Declares She’s Done with Romantic Relationships, Calls Them a “Disease”

American singer Solána Imani Rowe, popularly known as SZA, has made a bold declaration regarding her stance on romantic relationships.

The R&B star took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday to express her disillusionment with romance, stating that she never wants to be romantically involved with anyone again.

“I never wanna be romantically interested in a human being ever again in my entire life. That sh*t is a disease,” SZA wrote, signaling her decision to stay away from romantic entanglements.

SZA’s statement comes after years of speculation and rumors about her love life. She has been linked to rapper Travis Scott and, more recently, sparked rumors of a romantic relationship with fellow singer Kehlani.

While Kehlani later publicly identified as a lesbian, SZA has kept her personal life and sexuality mostly private, rarely addressing the rumors surrounding her relationships.

In a rare admission, SZA revealed in a tweet back in 2020 that she and rapper Drake briefly dated in 2009. However, beyond this, she has remained tight-lipped about her love life, choosing instead to focus on her music and career.
