Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has criticized gospel artists for their silence following the death of singer Mohbad.
The actress, who has been a vocal advocate for the late singer, responded to a fan's observation that no gospel musicians paid attention to Mohbad's passing in the same way they did for the late Osinachi. Tonto Dikeh expressed her indifference towards them, stating that they did not care about Mohbad.
She went on to pray that they do not face a similar fate because their reactions would then label them as heartless. Tonto revealed that she knows some clergymen who have been supportive and have reached out to pray for Mohbad's cause. However, gospel musicians have chosen to ignore his death. She declared that she would not respond to them until one of their own passes away.
In her caption, Tonto added that she believes 99.9% of them are deeply flawed individuals, engaging in sinful behavior despite their angelic voices.
