President Bola Tinubu has expanded the N25,000 wage increment to encompass all tiers of civil service employees.
As reported by NTA, this development was revealed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Gbajabiamila conveyed that the twenty-five thousand naira raise, initially announced by President Bola Tinubu as an intervention for low-grade federal workers, will now be extended to cover employees at all levels.
Our source recollects that President Tinubu had initially declared a N25,000 wage increase for low-grade civil service workers on Sunday as part of measures to mitigate the impact of the fuel subsidy removal policy.
The President made this commitment during his nationwide address on Independence Day, highlighting that the salary enhancement will remain in effect for a duration of six months.
