Tacha Reveals Truth Behind Davido Tattoo

Reality TV star Tacha has explained the story behind a tattoo she once had, which many people believed was a portrait of Nigerian singer Davido.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate said the tattoo was never meant to represent the award-winning musician. According to her, the image was actually the face of a child, but people misunderstood what they were seeing and quickly associated it with Davido.

Tacha explained that the misunderstanding became attached to the tattoo, despite what the original image was meant to represent. She said she eventually decided to cover it up, not because of any issue involving the singer, but because she had reached a point where she wanted something different.

For her, the decision was simply part of growing and making changes as life moves forward. She also suggested that explaining the real story behind the tattoo would not necessarily have stopped people from believing what they had already assumed.

Tacha made it clear that she understood how the confusion started, but she did not see the need to keep going back and forth trying to convince people otherwise. Even if she had publicly explained that the tattoo was a child's face, she believed many would still hold on to their own version of the story.

Speaking about the situation, she said:

“The tattoo wasn't Davido's face, it was a kid's face, but people thought it was Davido, and I covered it because people grow. It was misinformation. Even if I cleared the air, people would still run with it. I covered it because people grow..."

Her explanation puts a different perspective on a tattoo that had been widely associated with the singer. What many had taken to be a tribute to Davido was, according to Tacha, simply a case of mistaken identity.

She also made it clear that covering the tattoo was a personal decision and not something that should be tied to the singer or any supposed disagreement involving him.

Tacha's explanation indicates that she has moved on from the issue and sees no reason to keep revisiting it. Rather than allowing the misunderstanding to define the story behind her tattoo, she has given her own account of what the image represented and why she eventually chose to change it.
