Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has revealed that she personally created all the dialogue featured in her movie, Oversabi Aunty.
The actress disclosed this while promoting the film following its arrival on Netflix and Kava. In a post shared on X, Toyin encouraged her fans to watch the movie while highlighting her personal contribution to its script.
She explained that every line spoken by the characters in the film was written by her, describing the achievement with excitement and appreciation for her supporters.
Oversabi Aunty represents an important milestone in Toyin's career because it served as her directorial debut. The actress took on the responsibility of directing the project while also playing the lead role.
The movie features a notable cast that includes Mike Ezuruonye, Tana Adelana, Jemima Osunde, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Efe Irele and Queen Nwokoye, among other actors.
The story centres on Toun, an enthusiastic church usher whose determination to correct the behaviour of people around her gradually creates complications.
Her actions, although driven by what she believes is the right thing to do, eventually affect her family and lead to a series of comic situations.
The film first reached Nigerian cinema audiences on December 19, 2025. It subsequently enjoyed a successful theatrical run, generating more than N1 billion in box-office revenue.
