Media personality Shade Ladipo has taken a swipe at Diiadem and Dabota Lawson as their once-close friendship continues to unravel publicly.
The former friends have been at the centre of an increasingly messy social media fallout, with accusations flying back and forth and personal details of their relationship becoming public.
Shade appeared to make reference to the drama in a post on her Instagram Stories.
“I hear your fave Lagos Oshos are fighting 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨”
She followed up with a jab at the polished image some celebrities maintain online, writing:
“These are the first people to post bible verse and tell you how hard they work 😂😂
#AreYouNotEntertained”, she said.
The media personality then brought up her experience in the entertainment industry, making a claim about how some people in the industry allegedly make their money.
“As someone who was in the entertainment industry, you will be shocked that most of your faves make most of their money on their backs and this is a fact!!”, she noted.
She ended the post with another blunt remark:
“Well I guess
A blow.... job is still a job 🤷🏾♀️”
Shade’s post comes as the friendship between Diiadem and Dabota continues to make headlines.
The two women became close after meeting through The Real Housewives of Lagos, where their friendship was one of the relationships that stood out during the third season. They appeared comfortable with each other and were often seen together, making their eventual fallout all the more surprising to fans.
Things have since changed dramatically.
Their disagreement has reportedly involved claims of social media smear campaigns, money and personal relationships. A major point of contention has been a reported ₦5 million birthday gift, with both sides giving different accounts of what happened around the money.
Another explosive part of the dispute involves an alleged relationship between Diiadem and a married man. Diiadem acknowledged some aspects of the allegation while making her own accusation against Dabota over the same man.
The former friends have also traded accusations over their private dealings and other people who became caught up in their disagreement.
