Nigerian TikTok personality Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has reacted angrily to a social media comparison involving her old and recent photographs.
The content creator addressed the controversy after a Twitter user identified as Ruth shared images of Jarvis that appeared to show differences in her appearance. The comparison reportedly drew attention from other users, with some describing the pictures as Jarvis’ appearance “before and after marriage”.
Jarvis, who was displeased by the comparison, responded in a video, calling out Ruth and questioning why she had chosen to focus on her appearance.
Jarvis Questions Ruth’s Motive
In her response, Jarvis directly addressed the Twitter user and expressed disbelief over the comparison.
“So, on Twitter, there’s one lady called Ruth. I don’t know who gave her Ruth because the Ruth I know in the Bible, they are not like that,” she said.
The TikTok star appeared to take particular issue with the decision to compare her photographs publicly, suggesting that Ruth had become unnecessarily interested in her personal appearance and marital life.
Jarvis went on to tell Ruth to focus on getting married rather than spending her time analysing pictures of someone else.
“Ruth, you’ll not go and marry; you are there comparing before and after,” she said.
