An emotional plea for recognition has brought veteran Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely known as K1 De Ultimate, into the spotlight after a woman and her daughter accused him of refusing to acknowledge their paternity claims.
The woman, who identified herself as Ogechi, said she has spent years trying to get the singer to accept responsibility for her daughter, Azizat. According to her, the matter has remained unresolved despite several attempts to reach him through different channels.
Ogechi claimed she was once employed by the Fuji star as his pedicurist and that they were involved in a romantic relationship that lasted for more than seven years. She alleged that everything changed after she informed him she was pregnant.
She said the singer allegedly advised her to terminate the pregnancy and promised to send someone with money for the abortion. However, she claimed no one ever came, and she eventually decided to keep the pregnancy and give birth to the child.
The woman maintained that she informed him after the birth of their daughter, but he allegedly refused to accept the child. She further alleged that she later met the singer's late mother, who became emotional after seeing Azizat because of what she believed was a striking resemblance.
Ogechi also revealed that she had sought the intervention of several traditional rulers in an effort to resolve the matter peacefully. According to her, those efforts have not yielded the desired result.
She insisted that she has nothing to hide and is prepared to undergo a DNA test if there is any doubt about the child's paternity.
Speaking on the issue, she said:
"I'M Ogechi, Nigerians pls help me plead with Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to come and take his daughter with me, He has refused accepting his daughter and if he is doubting the paternity of Azizat, l am ready for DNAA
'I used to work for Wasiu Ayinde Marshal as his pedicures and we dated for over 7 years before l got pregnant. The moment I told him I was pregnant he instructed me to go and ab0rt it that he would send one of his boys to come and give me money for the ab0rtion but i waited and never hear from him again.
When l gave birth to Azizat, l told him but he denied the baby, l met his late mother while she was still alive and the moment his late mother saw Azizat, she started crying and she saidd Azizat look so much like her, a raw copy of her.
I have been to several Obas palaces just to plead with Wasiu Ayinde marshal to accept his daughter but he refused.
Pls help me beg him to come and take his daughter, l am tired."
Azizat also shared her own side of the story, saying she has lived with questions about her identity while hearing people describe the veteran entertainer as a wealthy man. She said what she desires most is not public attention but acceptance from the man she believes is her father.
According to her, she and her mother visited his residence in Ijebu Ode in July 2025 in the hope of speaking with him, but she claimed they were turned away.
The young woman disclosed that she has found comfort in music and is currently writing a song inspired by her personal experience. She expressed hope that one day she would be able to tell her story through her music.

"My name is Azizat Aduke Ellena daughter of Wasiu Ayinde Marshal. l was told my father Wasiu Ayinde Marshal is a billionaire, some even said his a trillionaire that he has plenty money but look at me, am not feeling it. I am tired, he should help me, Nigerians should help me beg him to accept me, last year July 2025 that we went to his house at ijebu ode, he denied me.
I have started writing a song and l pray l make it l will sing it out for everyone to listen."
Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has not publicly addressed the allegations.
