Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has shared insights into her experience filming an intimate scene with actor Daniel Etim-Effiong in the Netflix drama Blood Sisters 2, describing the production as strictly professional and well-managed on set.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Henshaw addressed public curiosity surrounding the scene, noting that it was handled with clear boundaries and mutual respect between both actors.
She explained that although the scene required a high level of vulnerability, both she and Etim-Effiong approached it with discipline, ensuring that the work remained strictly performance-based without any form of personal discomfort.
According to her, clear communication played a major role in making the process smooth, as both actors understood the demands of the script and maintained professionalism throughout filming.
Henshaw also praised Daniel Etim-Effiong’s conduct on set, stating that he remained calm, respectful, and reassuring, which helped maintain a comfortable working environment during a sensitive scene.
The discussion has continued to generate reactions online, especially among fans of the popular Netflix thriller, which returned with its second season earlier this month.
Blood Sisters 2, produced by EbonyLife Studios and created by Temidayo Makanjuola, continues the intense storyline of Sarah and Kemi as they deal with the aftermath of past events while confronting new dangers tied to the powerful Ademola family.
The series features returning stars such as Nancy Isime, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kehinde Bankole, Gabriel Afolayan, Wale Ojo, Daniel Etim-Effiong, and Kate Henshaw, alongside new cast additions that expand the storyline further.
Directed by Daniel Oriahi and Kayode Kasum, the four-episode season continues to explore themes of power, secrecy, betrayal, and survival within a high-stakes family and crime-driven narrative.
Henshaw’s comments add to ongoing conversations about professionalism in Nollywood, especially in scenes that require emotional or physical vulnerability, highlighting the growing structure and maturity within Nigeria’s film industry.
