I’ll Never Tell a Man How Much I Earn — Nancy Isime Says

Nigerian actress and media personality Nancy Isime has spoken candidly about her views on finances in relationships, revealing that she prefers to keep details about her income private and expects the same from any man she is involved with.

The actress made the remarks while discussing personal boundaries and financial independence, stressing that she does not believe a romantic relationship or marriage should automatically require partners to disclose how much they earn.

According to Nancy, she has never seen the need to discuss her income with a man and does not intend to start doing so. She explained that financial privacy is important to her and that she is comfortable keeping that aspect of her life separate from her relationships.

“I will never discuss my money with a man. I can never tell a man how much I earn. Why should I?” she said.

Nancy further noted that her stance is not one-sided. While she does not want to reveal her earnings to a partner, she also has no interest in finding out how much a man earns. She explained that she has never considered a person's salary to be a topic she needs to explore in a relationship.

The actress emphasized that she would never ask a man to disclose his income because she believes such information is personal. In her view, mutual respect includes allowing each person to maintain certain levels of privacy, especially regarding finances.

“I don't want him discussing his with me either because I will never ask him,” she added.

Speaking further, Nancy maintained that marriage and personal earnings are two separate issues. Instead, she believes relationships should be built on understanding, trust, respect and shared values.

“Marriage has got nothing to do with discussing how much I earn,” she stated.
