For nearly two years, the relationship between Nigerian TikTok personalities Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Elizabeth Amadou Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, has played out in full view of the public, turning them into one of the most talked-about couples on social media.

What began as casual livestream interactions has now ended in a traditional marriage ceremony in Benin City, marking a major turning point in their viral love story.

Their journey started in 2023 during a TikTok livestream, where both creators were already building strong online followings.

According to early accounts, Jarvis was not immediately impressed with Peller’s energetic and sometimes chaotic online personality.

However, repeated livestream appearances soon turned their initial friction into an entertaining partnership that quickly attracted viewers.

As their online chemistry grew, fans began speculating about a possible romance. This speculation intensified after the duo released romantic, 90s-inspired photos, which sparked widespread discussion across TikTok and Instagram.

By 2024, their relationship had become a subject of constant debate, although both creators often avoided giving a clear confirmation.

The turning point came in late 2024 when Peller publicly proposed to Jarvis during a livestream. The moment caused confusion online, especially after Jarvis later referred to the ring as a promise ring rather than an official engagement.

However, months later, she clarified in an interview that the proposal was indeed genuine, though she had initially downplayed it due to concerns about their age and timing.

Their relationship has also been marked by several public controversies. At different points, the couple faced accusations, misunderstandings, and viral incidents that kept them in the spotlight.

These included a staged pregnancy reveal that was later confirmed to be a prank, disagreements over the nature of their relationship, and online disputes that sometimes escalated into heated exchanges.

One particularly controversial moment involved viral clips that raised concerns among fans about boundaries in their public interactions.

Despite the ups and downs, the pair continued to stay connected both personally and professionally, often collaborating on content that attracted millions of views. In June 2026, Peller proposed again, this time in a more private beachfront setting in Ghana, marking a more serious and emotional step in their relationship. Jarvis later explained that the location was chosen for privacy and security reasons.

Shortly after the proposal, the couple moved forward with traditional marriage rites. Peller traveled to Jarvis’s hometown in Benin City, where he officially paid her bride price during a family ceremony attended by close relatives.

Both were dressed in coordinated traditional Edo attire, symbolising the formal union of their families.

Following the ceremony, Peller announced the completion of the bride price rites on social media, describing it as the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. With the traditional marriage now completed, attention has shifted to their white wedding plans, which fans are eagerly anticipating.

From viral livestreams to traditional marriage, Peller and Jarvis’s relationship reflects the growing influence of social media in shaping modern love stories in Nigeria, where online connections can quickly evolve into real-life commitments.
