Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has humorously shared her experience celebrating Eid with her husband’s family in Ijebu, joking that she was being overworked throughout the festive period.
The actress, who travelled to Ijebu with her husband for the celebration, took to social media to post videos and updates showing herself actively involved in cooking and other kitchen activities at her in-laws’ residence.
In the playful post, Debbie complained that she had barely rested since arriving at the family house, saying she had been occupied with preparing food and carrying out household duties from morning till evening.
“Them Don Too Use Me For My In-Law House. Na Since Morning I Dey Lo Efun Eran… Sey Una Dey See Say I Dey Work Ooo!!” she wrote jokingly.
Her comments quickly attracted reactions from fans, many of whom found the situation relatable and praised her for embracing family traditions and participating fully in the Eid celebration.
The actress appeared cheerful in the clips despite her playful complaints, as she interacted with family members and helped out during the festive preparations.
Debbie also used the opportunity to invite fans and residents of Ijebu Ode to attend a movie screening scheduled for later in the day.

The actress further promoted one of her personal projects, OREMI OWON, which is currently available on YouTube through her platform, DebbieShowTV.
