The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has arrived in Dakar, Senegal, for an official visit that comes amid lingering controversy surrounding the outcome of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Motsepe was welcomed on Wednesday by Abdoulaye Fall, the head of the Senegalese Football Federation, as part of a visit expected to involve high-level discussions about the state of football in the country and recent developments affecting the national team.
