Nollywood star turned evangelist, Tonto Dikeh, has given a raw and emotional testimony about the challenges and dark paths she once walked, revealing a journey from confusion to spiritual redemption.

Speaking at the Women of Fire Prayer Conference in Tanzania, organized by Rose Shaboka, Dikeh shared candidly how her life before faith was fraught with misdirection and risky choices.

Addressing a large audience of worshippers, she reflected on the period when she felt lost and uncertain about her purpose.

“In the midst of trying to navigate life, I’ve dipped my hands in so much filth and dirt, I’ve joined a cult, I’ve worked with a demon so hard,” she confessed.

Her openness drew audible reactions from attendees, who were moved by the depth of her honesty.

Dikeh explained that her search for direction led her into dangerous spiritual territory. She admitted that she had once engaged in practices she now regrets and had been involved with demonic forces.

“I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything for me anymore,” she stated, emphasizing her decisive break from that chapter of her life.

Her turning point, she revealed, came through a profound divine encounter.

“Today God said… I’ll take you back and clean you up. I’ll put you on altars to preach my gospel,” she shared, highlighting the spiritual transformation that reshaped her purpose and calling.

The conference, which also featured renowned ministers such as Jerry Eze, Funke Adejumo, and Halida Allice, drew worshippers from across the region. Dikeh’s testimony stood out as a powerful narrative of redemption, showing that even those who have strayed into darkness can find restoration through faith.

The actress, who first rose to prominence in 2006 through the reality show The Next Movie Star, described her early years as marred by confusion and spiritual entanglement. Her candid sharing serves as both a warning and inspiration to others struggling to find direction in life.

Tonto Dikeh’s journey from turmoil to triumph underscores the message that no matter the mistakes of the past, divine grace has the power to restore and redirect lives toward purpose.
