Popular Nigerian comedian and actress Princess has openly shared her desire to find love again, calling on prominent Christian leaders to assist her in her search for a suitable husband.
In an emotional video posted on her Instagram page, the entertainer revealed that she is currently divorced and single, explaining that after years of personal growth, prayer, fasting, and self-examination, she now feels prepared to re-enter marriage. Her public appeal, she said, was a deliberate step of faith rather than desperation.
Princess directly mentioned respected clerics such as Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Selman, Bolaji Idowu, and Femi Lazarus, urging them not only to pray for her but also to offer practical support by recommending eligible men within their congregations.
According to the comedian, she is specifically interested in men who are mature, emotionally grounded, and intentional about commitment. She stated that her preference is for kind and responsible men in their 40s or early 50s who genuinely desire a stable and lasting relationship.
“I have prayed, and now I am taking action by speaking out. I need a kind and responsible man to marry. I am tired. I must be married in 2026,” she said in the video.
Princess stressed that her openness about her personal life was rooted in honesty and faith, noting that she no longer believes in keeping silent about something she earnestly desires. She explained that while prayer remains central to her life, she also understands the importance of taking bold steps toward her goals.
She further clarified the kind of suitors she is willing to consider, stating that widowers and divorcees are welcome, but not men who are still separated from their spouses. In her words, clarity and emotional availability are non-negotiable.
“If you have good men in your church who are in their 40s or 50s, please send their handles to my DM. They can be widowers or divorcees but not separated. If you have me in your life, it is a blessing,” Princess said.
The comedian also attached a timeline to her declaration, revealing her expectations for the year. According to her, speaking out early in the year is part of her faith-driven plan, and she believes that progress will follow.
“As I have spoken out now in January, I expect to be engaged by September. If you mock me, God will judge you,” she added.
Princess’ video has since sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many fans applauding her courage and vulnerability, while others expressed surprise at her direct appeal to pastors. Some commenters praised her for normalising conversations around remarriage, especially for women who have experienced divorce, while others described her approach as bold and unconventional.
Known for her humour and strong personality, Princess has often used her platform to address personal and societal issues. Her latest revelation adds a deeply personal layer to her public image, showing a woman unafraid to be transparent about her emotional needs and future aspirations.
For Princess, the message was clear: faith, she believes, does not exclude action. By voicing her desire openly, she hopes to remove stigma around singlehood and divorce while trusting that the right partner will emerge at the right time.
As reactions continue to trail her post, many supporters have wished her well, expressing hope that her 2026 marital goal becomes a reality.
