Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has offered heartfelt prayers against untimely death in the entertainment industry following the painful loss of his best friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola. The actor, visibly emotional, took to social media to share his grief while expressing gratitude to those who supported him during one of the most difficult periods of his life.


Sharing a touching photo of himself and the late actress, Rotimi revealed that moving on from the loss has been extremely challenging. Despite the pain, he reassured fans and loved ones that he is determined to heal with the help of the people around him. In his words, “Moving on seems difficult, but I sure will with the help of everyone out here.”


Allwell Ademola passed away on December 27, 2025, after reportedly suffering a sudden health complication. Her death sent shockwaves across the Nollywood industry, as colleagues and fans struggled to come to terms with the loss of a vibrant actress known for her talent, warmth, and professionalism.


She was laid to rest on January 9, 2026, following a solemn burial ceremony attended by family members, close friends, and several Nollywood stars. Prior to her burial, a service of songs and candlelight procession was held in her honour, celebrating her life and contributions to the movie industry.


Before her demise, Allwell Ademola shared a very close bond with Rotimi Salami. The two were known to be more than just colleagues, as they maintained a strong friendship built on mutual respect, love, and support. Their closeness was evident in their frequent interactions and the emotional weight behind Rotimi’s tribute.


Expressing appreciation to those who checked on him during his grieving period, Rotimi wrote, “A huge thanks to everyone who cares for my well-being. Your calls and messages helped a great deal.” He concluded with a powerful prayer for the industry, saying, “May we not experience such loss again. HAPPY NEW YEAR. BACK TO GRIND.”


Rotimi’s message has since sparked conversations online about health, life, and the emotional toll of losing loved ones in Nollywood.
