The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, has reportedly suffered another devastating loss following news of the death of actress Allwell Ademola. The tragic development has left colleagues, fans, and movie lovers in deep shock and mourning.
The sad news was first made public by filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi, who shared the announcement via his Instagram page. Although the post has since been deleted, the message quickly spread across social media, sparking emotional reactions within the industry.
Actor Damola Olatunji appeared to confirm the heartbreaking report when he shared a candlelight image on his social media page with the caption, “Life is a mirage.” His post further fueled concerns and sorrow among Nollywood insiders.
Veteran actress Faithia Williams also reacted emotionally, writing,
“Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke.” Her words reflected the pain many felt over the reported passing.
An equally emotional response came from actress Bidemi Kosoko, who openly expressed disbelief. She wrote, “No way. No, no,, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid, in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one Lai Lai God forbid. Olorun oni je. Just reply to my message, abeg Oremi/ aunty mi. I will wait patiently for your reply.”
If confirmed, Allwell Ademola would sadly join the growing list of Nollywood actors who have died this year, marking yet another painful chapter for the Nigerian entertainment industry.
