Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has opened up about his journey before, during, and after his dramatic disqualification from the reality TV show, revealing emotional and financial sacrifices that shaped his path.
In a heartfelt four-minute monologue shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old medical doctor broke his silence for the first time since leaving the BBNaija 10/10 edition. Faith, who was disqualified after a physical altercation in the house, spoke candidly about his struggles, choices, and how the show transformed his outlook on life.
He began his message on a reflective note, using symbolism to describe his transformation and the lessons he learned from the experience.
“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully,” he began, setting a somber yet poetic tone for his address.
The reality star recounted how his Big Brother journey started unexpectedly with a simple message that would ultimately change the course of his life.
“On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.
Faith explained that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he felt lost and uncertain about his future as a medical doctor. With limited opportunities and rising frustration, he decided to take a leap of faith by auditioning for the popular reality TV show.
“I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor. But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow I made it,” he revealed.
According to him, the decision to borrow such a huge amount was driven by his belief that the platform could change his life forever — a belief that ultimately paid off, even if his time in the house ended sooner than expected.
While reflecting on his stay in the Big Brother house, Faith admitted that he went through several emotional challenges and moments of self-doubt.
“I wasn’t perfect, I made a lot of mistakes, I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he shared, highlighting the intense mental pressure that came with being on the show.
Despite the controversy surrounding his disqualification, Faith expressed deep gratitude to his fans, acknowledging their unwavering love and support throughout his time in the competition.
“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection, they saw Faith, a flawed but passionate man,” he said with emotion.
Faith concluded his video on an optimistic note, affirming that he now feels renewed and ready to pursue new dreams beyond the Big Brother platform.
“This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all,” he declared.
Faith’s story has since drawn attention from fans who have praised his transparency and determination. His journey — from taking a ₦5 million loan to stepping into one of Africa’s biggest television stages — reflects the lengths many young Nigerians go to in pursuit of purpose and transformation.
Although his time in the Big Brother house was cut short, Faith’s revelation proves that his story is far from over. For him, the show may have ended, but the journey to greatness has only just begun.
