Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has once again stirred social media after publicly lashing out at his fourth babymama, actress Ashabi Simple, in a fiery outburst shared on his Instagram page.
In the leaked conversation, the Zazuu Zeh crooner accused Ashabi, who is the mother of two of his children, of trying to destroy his marriage and cause problems in his home. Portable claimed that Ashabi had once again attempted to turn his wife, Bewaji, against him — a move he described as the latest in a long string of troubles she had brought into his life.
The singer did not hold back his words as he declared that Ashabi was the “mistake” he made among all the women who had children for him. He also accused her of being responsible for the end of his past relationship with his ex, Queen Dami.
“You molest me, you disrespect me; it’s because of God’s grace on my life that you’re with me. You’re evil. Any woman I want to call my wife must respect me, but you don’t do that; you’re driving me crãzy,” he said.
Continuing his rant, Portable expressed gratitude to God for preserving his marriage with Bewaji, saying his wife had remained loyal despite Ashabi’s attempts to destroy their relationship.
“Whenever they call my wife Bewaji, I am always happy, and she is always happy too. You are the mistake I made in my life among all the women who had kids for me. You were the one who chased Queen Dami away. When she came to apologise, you and your friends spoiled it,” he added.
The singer further accused Ashabi of gossiping about him to his wife and trying to turn her against him.
“You are a useless human being. Why do you want to chase all women away from me? It was God who didn’t let Bewaji leave my house. You went to tell Bewaji that I had girlfriends. It shall not be w£ll with you,” Portable said.
In a fiery conclusion, he went on to insult her family background, claiming she had contributed nothing meaningful to her parents, and vowed never to love her again.
“What have you ever bought for your parents? You poor girl. I can’t love you. You are wasting your time. You ingrate. Who knows you? You want to pay me with ev!l after I raised you up. Leave my life,” he declared.
Portable’s relationship with Ashabi has been stormy over the last two years, marked by frequent public quarrels, accusations, and reconciliations. Despite their rocky dynamic, the two have continued to make headlines for alternating between affection and conflict.
In June, the street-hop singer had earlier accused Ashabi of attempting to turn his wife against him, claiming she was “feeding Bewaji with negativity” about their marriage. He also alleged that the actress was seeking clout using his name and relationship drama.
Earlier in March, Portable had explained why he only travelled with Bewaji on a trip to London, criticizing Ashabi for reacting bitterly to the decision. According to him, his wife is “peaceful” while Ashabi is “constantly in competition” with her.
Despite all the public dragging, Ashabi surprised many fans by celebrating Portable’s birthday with a lavish spread, sharing a video of herself treating the singer to a feast on Instagram — a reminder of their complicated, on-and-off relationship.
