Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is back in the headlines, this time venting about his fourth baby mama, Ashabi.
Hours ago, the singer accused Ashabi of taking his name to an Alfa and reportedly crushing on another man. Portable, who is a father of six, pointed out the irony, claiming she doesn’t realize he has tied her down spiritually. He urged the public to warn her.
On his Instagram story, Portable drew comparisons to music legend 2face Idibia, saying:
“Zazzu
Wetin I don see 2face never face am face-to-face.
Loyalty pass juju”
In another post, the singer hinted at his personal struggles, saying:
“Zazzu
I need to fight for my tomorrow because I don’t want to die young.”
The drama reportedly started after a leaked conversation on Portable’s Instagram, where he slammed Ashabi, the mother of two of his kids, accusing her of attempting to ruin his marriage once again. He labeled her as “the mistake” of his life and claimed she chased away one of his exes, Queen Dami.
Reacting to Portable’s tirade, Ashabi reminded the public that this isn’t the first time he has dragged her. She urged everyone to act like nothing had happened, adding that her relationship is being used to portray her as a failure. She stressed that no one should advise her.
Not done, Portable took to TikTok live, warning the public about Ashabi, alleging she had been posting advertisements from wealthy men. He revealed she planned to travel to South Africa soon and that his attempts to abort the trip by getting her pregnant had failed.
Despite the ongoing drama, Portable hinted at a possible reconciliation, promoting the South Africa trip on his Instagram page.
The relationship between Portable and Ashabi has been tumultuous over the past two years, ever since they went public amid the singer’s marriage. Yet, despite the public disputes, the couple continues to resolve their conflicts and remain together.
