American rapper Kiari Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has finally addressed the long-standing rumors linking him to fellow rapper Saweetie.

Speaking during a podcast interview with actress and singer Keke Palmer, the former Migos member dismissed the allegations as entirely false and unnecessary.

“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he said, describing the rumors of infidelity as “strange and baseless.”

Offset explained that the gossip surrounding his alleged relationship with Saweetie had caused unnecessary drama, especially as it came at a time when his personal life was already under scrutiny. He noted that the speculation was not only untrue but also distracting from his growth as an artist and a person.

The rapper also opened up about his troubled marriage with Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, revealing that his own actions played a major role in their separation.

“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset confessed, admitting that poor decision-making and infidelity had taken a toll on their relationship.

Despite their issues, he expressed admiration for Cardi B, calling her “bro” and clarifying that their divorce has not yet been finalized. He also hinted that, while their relationship is complicated, there remains mutual respect and care between them.

Offset went on to discuss how he has been navigating personal struggles, particularly the pain of losing his cousin and Migos bandmate, Takeoff, who was shot and killed in 2022. The tragic loss, he said, deeply affected him and forced him to take a hard look at his life and priorities.

Reflecting on how he has been coping with grief, Offset shared that he is channeling his energy into self-improvement and healing.

“I’m focused on becoming a better man now,” he said, emphasizing that therapy and faith have been instrumental in helping him overcome addiction and find inner peace.

According to the rapper, this new chapter of his life is about accountability, discipline, and growth. He added that his experiences — both the highs and the lows — have shaped him into someone determined to evolve beyond his past mistakes.
