Tanzanian-based music star Juma Jux, his wife Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, and their newborn son Rakeem have safely arrived in Nigeria for a visit and the Nigerian naming ceremony of their son.
The family’s visit follows the birth of baby Rakeem in Canada, where Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, had traveled to support her daughter. After the birth, Iyabo Ojo returned with Priscilla and Rakeem to Tanzania, where the couple is based. Following the completion of a month-long postpartum care, Iyabo Ojo returned to Nigeria, and shortly after, Priscilla, Juma Jux, and baby Rakeem traveled to Nigeria for a brief visit.
A social media post shared the family’s safe arrival, stating:
Juma Jux, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, and baby Rakeem have safely arrived in Nigeria. 🇳🇬✈️❤️”
The visit is primarily for family reunions and the continuation of baby Rakeem’s naming ceremonies in Nigeria, after the main ceremony held in Tanzania. Fans and well-wishers have expressed excitement over the family’s visit and shared congratulatory messages online.
This brief stay in Nigeria underscores the family’s commitment to maintaining cultural and familial traditions, while also celebrating the arrival of their newborn son among relatives in their home country.
