Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has once again captured the attention of her fans, this time by showcasing her solid Mainland home, just hours after narrowly escaping death for the second time in two months. The actress’ Lekki residence experienced a POP ceiling collapse, sparking renewed concerns about her safety and the structural integrity of properties in the area.
According to Nollywoodtimes, Nkechi Blessing shared a video of the aftermath of the Lekki POP ceiling collapse, reflecting on how life behind the camera differs from the glamor seen on social media. The curvy actress explained that despite appearing cheerful online, she is enduring significant personal challenges.
In the midst of this, Nkechi hinted at leaving Lekki for good, urging her fans to continue supporting her films so she can accumulate enough funds to invest in a home in either Victoria Island or Ikoyi, areas known for high-end real estate. She lamented the alarming quality of buildings in Lekki, pointing out that many developers construct substandard houses and sell them at exorbitant prices.
In her candid message to fans, Nkechi Blessing said:
"Hey baby, see you soon, or maybe an elder sister loading. I built this house in 2021, and to date, not a single thing don shift. The way these Lekki developers build substandard houses and give it out at ridiculous prices is alarming. But I no do again. D Ashiere wey Dey abuse me say I build house inside bush, don leave me for d lekki run go back her village. Make me sef Dey go back my bush, Lekki Ese ooo."
The actress also shared photos of her Mainland property, emphasizing that it has remained strong and intact since it was constructed in 2021. Her decision to highlight her sturdy Mainland house appears to serve as a contrast to the recurring structural issues she’s faced in Lekki.
