BBNaija S10: Danboskid Says Name Change Affected Fans’ Ability to Identify Him

Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Danboskid, has claimed that a name change before entering the house made it difficult for fans to locate and identify him during the show.

Danboskid, whose real name is Daniel Olatunji, was the first contestant to be evicted from the reality TV programme after spending two weeks in Biggie’s house. The 25-year-old entrepreneur from Ekiti State said the change in identity created confusion among his supporters.

Speaking on Arise TV’s 360 Chats, Danboskid explained that he initially provided a name consistent with his social media handles, but the organisers insisted on a different approach.

He said: “Entering the house, I gave a name that matched my social media handles, but the management did not want someone coming in with an already registered name. I changed that name to Danboskid, I was out of reach with my handler. This made it hard for my fans watching me to identify me.”
