Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Precious Ashiogwu, better known as Dede, has opened up about the emotional weight of being misunderstood in the house, following a revealing diary session with Biggie.

During her Sunday session, the 23-year-old shared how a fellow housemate recently confided in her that many of their co-contestants find her “unapproachable,” despite her consistent efforts to engage in house activities.

“Someone came to me and said do you know people have a perception about you? And I was like cool, that’s the point of a perception, everyone has a perception. It doesn’t have to be right or wrong,” she said.

She went on to explain that the housemate told her others feel she’s “doing too much” and giving off an energy that’s difficult to connect with.

“And the person went on to say that people feel like I’m doing too much, that I’m giving off an energy that is not approachable. And I’m like how? Because I’m literally involved in everything that happens in the house,” Dede explained.

The situation became even more painful when the same housemate told her that some people were glad when she had a disagreement with another housemate, Victory.

“The person went on to say that even when I had an issue with Victory people were happy about it, and that made me really sad but I didn’t show it,” she added emotionally.
