Two of Nollywood’s most celebrated actresses, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, have rekindled their once-strained relationship, signaling the end of a long-standing rivalry that has kept fans and industry watchers divided for years.
The heartwarming development came to light over the weekend as both stars showed public affection toward each other on Instagram a platform that had once silently echoed their professional distance. Toyin Abraham, known for her outspoken and vibrant personality, dropped a surprising but affectionate comment under a video shared by Funke Akindele.
“Aunty Funke, you hot oooo,” Toyin wrote, drawing massive attention from fans and industry insiders alike.
Responding to the unexpected yet warm gesture, Funke replied in a playful tone, “Toyin lol, onijogbon, Thanks dear,” calling Toyin a “troublemaker” in Yoruba with a hint of fondness.
