Mohbad's Death: Iyabo Ojo Allegedly Caught on Video Begging Naira Marley – Sandra Benede Reveals

Actress Sandra Benede has stirred controversy with fresh allegations surrounding the late singer Mohbad’s case, particularly pointing fingers at actress Iyabo Ojo and actor Jigan.

In a statement that’s been making rounds online, Sandra claimed she once stood up for Naira Marley after Mohbad’s death, believing he was innocent — despite public backlash.

“When Mohbad just d!ed, I defended Naira Marley, saying he was innocent — but many people bashed me. He was even locked up for something he didn’t do,” she said.

Sandra went further to claim that Iyabo Ojo, a vocal advocate for justice in Mohbad’s case, has allegedly met Naira Marley in private to make peace.

“Now your ‘queen mother’ Iyabo Ojo has gone behind the scenes to beg Naira. They met face to face, and she was crying and pleading. Sam Larry was there too. She was recorded, and that video will soon be released. She said it was Jigan who brought the case to her and claimed she wasn’t directly involved,” she alleged.

According to Sandra, the public hasn’t seen the full picture, and Naira Marley has kept quiet despite having "evidence."

“Naira Marley may not talk much, but he has evidence. Nigerians react emotionally to everything. Even K-Solo has now apologized after defaming Naira on national TV.”

She also touched on the reported betrayal from those close to Naira, naming Jigan in particular.

“Let’s not forget: Naira once accommodated and fed Jigan, treated him like a brother. Look at how Jigan repaid him.”

Sandra reminded the public of conflicting statements allegedly made by Mohbad regarding his death.

“Mohbad once said, ‘If I d!e, it’s Naira Marley,’ but he also told Wunmi, ‘If I d!e today, the world should know you k!lled me.’ Why did people ignore Wunmi’s part and focus only on Naira?”

She concluded by urging Iyabo Ojo and Jigan to come clean before being exposed.

“You said it’s normal for couples to fight — isn’t it also normal for a boss and his artiste to have misunderstandings?

My advice: Jigan and Iyabo should come out and explain what they said and did in the WhatsApp group before VDM exposes everything. I’ve seen it all — it’s shocking. I used to think these things only happen in movies.”
