Controversial Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again stirred public discourse with a bold statement directed at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo. In a recent social media post, Olunloyo called on the actress to name her future grandson after the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Mohbad, a rising star in the Nigerian music industry, tragically passed away in September 2023 under mysterious circumstances that sparked national outrage and investigations. His death led to widespread calls for justice, especially on social media, where fans and celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo, actively campaigned for accountability.
Kemi Olunloyo, known for her controversial takes on celebrity matters and social issues, referenced Ojo’s vocal support during the #JusticeForMohbad movement. Olunloyo, who had previously clashed with Ojo on various fronts, seemed to challenge the actress’s loyalty to the cause with her latest statement.
“You have to name your grandson Mohbad Mkambala,” Olunloyo declared, using a tone that many perceived as both provocative and symbolic.
