Popular Yoruba actress Kemi Korede has taken to social media to announce a heartwarming gesture she built a brand new house for her parents as a birthday gift to herself and a fulfillment of a long-held dream.
The talented actress, who celebrated her birthday on July 15, shared the emotional news with fans via her Instagram page.

“Firstly, I want to say thank you to my creator for his mercy over me to be able to achieve this for my parent… Truly, you are God,” she wrote. “My heart is filled with joy and happiness. God of possibility has made my dream come true.”
Korede, whose real name is Oluwakemi Adetoro Ojo, added that she had always wished to do something grand for her parents and was grateful that the dream became a reality on such a special occasion. Her post included photos of the newly constructed house and a video showing her parents visibly overwhelmed with joy.

“To my co-producers, my directors, all cast and crews I have worked for and worked with… thank you for believing in me. My growth is not enough if I don’t acknowledge you all. Once again, I say thank you,” she said.
Korede also thanked friends and family who joined her parents in celebrating the milestone. She offered prayers for everyone who showed up, wishing them peaceful returns to their various destinations and more reasons to celebrate in life.
“Lastly, I want to extend my appreciation to all family and friends that came to rejoice with my parent and I. May we all have every reason to be celebrated. Insha Allah,” she concluded.
