Nigerian music sensation Davido has once again shown why he's beloved by many, going out of his way to celebrate one of his fans in a heartwarming moment that has since gone viral.
In a recently circulated video, the award-winning singer walked into a restaurant where an overjoyed female fan couldn’t contain her excitement upon seeing him. She screamed in disbelief and quickly informed him that it was her birthday. In response, Davido surprised her by handing her $1,000 as a birthday gift and kindly posed for photos with her.
The touching moment is yet another display of Davido’s generosity and strong connection with his fanbase.
This surprise gesture comes shortly after the singer made headlines for his extravagant lifestyle, having just purchased a Lamborghini Revuelto, only weeks after receiving his Tesla Cybertruck.
Davido’s generosity hasn’t gone unnoticed in other instances either. Not long ago, he gifted N5 million to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who manages one of his fan pages, encouraging them to use the money for a hair makeover.
In another recent act of kindness, the music star offered a Ghanaian TikToker $5,000 after the fan flawlessly sang Davido's song With You word for word. Davido expressed his appreciation and directed the TikToker to contact his associate, Deekay DMW, to claim the promised amount.
