Charles Idibia, the younger brother of legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba (Innocent Idibia), has written an emotional open letter to the singer, urging him to walk away from what he described as a toxic and manipulative relationship.
In a lengthy and heartfelt message shared on Tuesday, July 2, 2025, Charles expressed deep concern over his brother’s well-being, alleging that 2Baba is being psychologically manipulated and emotionally abused by his current partner, Natasha.
“To my dear @official2baba... you have been captured from inside the frying pan to an industrial furnace,” Charles wrote. “My heart bleeds.”
Charles alleged that Natasha had taken control of 2Baba’s personal and professional life, including his phones, emails, and even social media accounts.
According to him, she announced the singer’s divorce, posted on his behalf, and intercepted private messages, pretending to be him.
He claimed Natasha pressured the singer into relocating from Lagos to Abuja, cutting ties with his management and turning him into a shadow of his former self. “She’s a control freak... a psychotic fan... a cancerous leech,” he added.
Charles appealed to 2Baba to take time off from music, business, and social media to focus on healing and reflection. He reminded him of his seven children and pleaded with him to prioritize his health and legacy.
“I beg you bro, take a couple of months off ALONE... your kids would love to grow up with a healthy and happy father,” Charles wrote. “This isn’t you.”
The open letter has since gone viral, sparking concern from fans and public figures who are now calling for 2Baba to address the matter and prioritize his personal well-being.
