Grammy-winning artist Wizkid has shared the mindset that helped shape his rise to stardom, attributing much of his success to having a clear vision from the beginning.
During an interview at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, where his documentary “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos” debuted, the Afrobeats star emphasised the importance of visualising success before attaining it.
Responding to a question about whether he foresaw his achievements, Wizkid said:
“Yeah, absolutely, man. You have to dream it before you achieve it. So, yeah, [I’ve] always [known I would be successful].”
He also encouraged young people to stay grounded, remain true to themselves, put in consistent effort, and never lose faith.
Wizkid’s words offer a glimpse into the mindset that has driven his journey from humble beginnings to international recognition.
