Frank Edoho Announces End of Second Marriage

Popular Nigerian television host, Frank Edoho, best known for anchoring the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, has publicly confirmed the crash of his second marriage.

Edoho made the revelation on X (formerly Twitter) after a follower expressed surprise at a tweet where he described himself as a single father. 

Responding to a question about his marital status, the media personality replied, “I am single now. I thought I had explained that we divorced 2 years ago. I’m not married anymore.”

This disclosure comes as a surprise to many of his fans, as there had been no public indication of trouble in his marriage until now. Frank and his second wife, Sandra Onyenaucheya, tied the knot in 2014 and share children together. 

The couple had managed to keep their relationship relatively private, rarely making headlines or engaging in public drama.

Before Sandra, Frank was married to Katherine Obiang, with whom he also shares children. That first marriage also ended in divorce after several years.

Edoho’s announcement has sparked widespread reactions online, with many expressing empathy and offering words of encouragement

. Some commended his courage for addressing the matter publicly, especially in a society where men are often pressured to remain silent about personal struggles.

Despite the personal setback, Frank continues to maintain his professional presence in the media space. His fans remain hopeful that he will find happiness and stability, either on his own or in a future relationship.

“I appreciate the concern and support. Life happens, and we move,” he added in another tweet, signaling his readiness to focus on the future and continue his career and fatherhood journey.

Frank’s openness has also sparked conversations about mental health, fatherhood, and the pressures of public life.
