Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has expressed grief over the tragic deaths of two young cinematographers, Johnson and Gozman, who reportedly died in a road accident along Port Harcourt road.
According to reports, the duo was returning from a colleague’s wedding when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Taking to Instagram, Edochie shared a candlelight image to pay tribute to the late crew members and decried the rising number of untimely deaths within the Nigerian film industry.
In his post, he wrote:
“Too many untimely deaths in Nollywood.
Really Sad.
R.I.P. to our fallen brothers.
May God grant your families the strength to bear this painful loss.”
The news of their passing has left many in the Nollywood community shaken, with tributes pouring in across social media platforms.
