Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has once again taken a swipe at his critics, claiming they are now facing the consequences of interfering in his marital issues.
In a recent Instagram post, the controversial actor stated that those who publicly condemned him during his marital scandal with his first wife, May Edochie, are now suffering in various ways.
According to Yul, some of his detractors have lost their own marriages, others are struggling in their careers, and many are still searching for life partners.
He added that some have become confused about their identity while others have resorted to begging online. Yul made it clear that their misfortunes are divine punishment for taking sides in his private affairs.
"All the fools that were attacking me for matters that didn’t concern them, they’re all suffering now. Some have lost their marriages, some have lost their careers. The ones wey dey find husband no see. Some are now begging online. You will continue to suffer until you apologise to me," he wrote.
Yul also warned others considering joining the bandwagon of critics, saying they would only bring misfortune upon themselves. He emphasized that some people are special to God and should not be targeted unfairly.
Yul’s marital drama began after he married fellow actress Judy Austin as a second wife, which led to a public fallout with May, his first wife and mother of his four children. May later filed for divorce and demanded N100 million in damages, while also securing full custody of their kids and a restraining order against Yul.
Since then, Yul has frequently used social media to air his grievances and call out critics, often sparking intense backlash. His latest comments have once again stirred controversy, drawing mixed reactions from fans and followers online.
