Former Big Brother Africa first runner-up, Tayo Faniran, has offered useful advice to individuals hoping to excel in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show. Speaking with Entertainment Jamboree, Tayo stated that achieving success on the show isn't as hard as many assume, provided contestants come prepared and play their cards right.
Tayo urged prospective housemates and those already chosen for the upcoming season to make thorough preparations by studying past editions of the show. He emphasized that there's a wealth of knowledge to gain from previous seasons. “Go and watch as many clips as you can from all the past seasons. There are lots of good things you can learn from those clips to add to your game plans,” he advised.
He also pointed out that a contestant’s personality and ability to interact well with others in the house play a significant role in how far they can go. Tayo mentioned that inexperience has often been a stumbling block for many participants, stressing the need to understand the social dynamics within the house.
Concluding his advice, Tayo encouraged contestants to take the preparation process seriously, assuring them that proper groundwork could significantly boost their chances. “If you do this, even if you don’t win, you will definitely be one of the finalists,” he said.
