Nigerian hip-hop star Panshak Zamani, widely known as Ice Prince, has candidly spoken about his ongoing battle with smoking, admitting that his ability to roll cannabis has made it harder for him to quit.
Speaking on the Konnected Minds podcast—shared via X on Saturday—the rapper revealed he’s determined to give up smoking but struggles due to a habit he wishes he never picked up.
Reflecting on his past choices, Ice Prince said, “One of the things that I wish I could unlearn is how to roll cannabis. I wish I had never learned that because if I hadn’t learned it, I would probably smoke with a bit of moderation or not even smoke.”
The Oleku crooner went on to share how this habit affects his lifestyle and daily routine, especially in creative spaces like the studio.
“But because I know how to roll, I smoke whenever I wake or in the studio. I don’t let anyone roll cannabis for me. I don’t do drugs, I don’t mix cannabis with any crazy stuff. I wish I had never learned how to roll,” he added.
