Award-winning Afrobeat artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shown generosity by rewarding a Ghanaian TikToker with a cash gift.
The music sensation, who recently dropped his much-anticipated album 5ive, gifted the content creator $5,000 after being impressed by his performance of one of the tracks.
In a viral video making rounds online, the TikToker, known as Ananzooficial, delivered a heartfelt rendition of With You—a collaboration between Davido and Omah Lay featured on the new project.
Moved by the accuracy and passion of the cover, Davido publicly acknowledged the performance and pledged a $5,000 reward, which amounts to over ₦9 million. He also directed Ananzooficial to contact his associate for the promised sum.
“5k US for you, pls contact @deekay_dmw,” Davido wrote.
