Popular Nigerian pastor and founder of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, has sparked debate with claims regarding the death of Pope Francis.
Following the sudden announcement of Pope Francis’s death, social media was filled with tributes and mourning from Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
Official details about what led to his passing remain largely undisclosed.
However, during a recent church service, Oyakhilome suggested that the COVID-19 vaccine might have played a role in the pontiff's demise.
He questioned the official narrative that a stroke was responsible, arguing that strokes are a known potential side effect linked to COVID-19 vaccines.
“I am telling you, the vaccine k!lled him. They are saying he died of a stroke. But where did the stroke come from? One of the common after-effects of the vaccine is stroke," he stated emphatically during the service.
Oyakhilome, who has often criticized global health policies and pandemic responses, expressed skepticism that the full story behind the Pope’s death would ever be made public.
He maintained that powerful interests would conceal any link between the vaccine and the pontiff’s passing.
This isn’t the first time Chris Oyakhilome has stirred controversy with his views on global issues. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, he made headlines for opposing vaccination campaigns and linking the 5G network to end-time prophecies — views that were widely criticized.
