Nollywood actor Kunle Remi is basking in the joy of fatherhood as he marked his first Easter celebration with his baby girl in the most heartwarming way.
The actor took to his Instagram page to share a touching photo of his daughter lying peacefully on top of a Bible. Captioning the photo, Kunle expressed that his daughter, named EemiiOluwa, is already "drooling at the promises of God." He also referenced his favorite Bible verse for the season, John 20:28, where Thomas declared, “My Lord and my God,” upon seeing the resurrected Jesus.
“Happy Easter folks. EemiiOluwa is drooling at the promises of God – my fave being John 20:28,” Kunle wrote. “Wishing you a wonderful celebration of Resurrection power.” He sweetly credited his wife for styling and taking the photo, adding a final note that it was their first Easter as a family.
The actor and his wife had earlier shared their pregnancy journey in a heartfelt video on Kunle’s YouTube page. The couple welcomed their daughter shortly after New Year, and since then, Kunle has occasionally offered glimpses of their new life as parents.
