Popular Nigerian relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, has taken to social media to celebrate her partner, IVD, as he marks his birthday today, April 30, 2025.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Blessing CEO opened up about the depth of her feelings for the auto dealer, revealing that she hadn’t realized how much she loved him until recently. She recounted the early days of their relationship, sharing how her initial intention was simply to see him survive amid the chaos surrounding his life.
"When I met you, I honestly wanted you to survive; the lies I saw, the plot, the twist, the pain, depression, brokenness, I saw grief. You were not so good with words, but each time I look at you I see it," she wrote. "I said to myself I will hold you by your hand and walk with you."
Blessing reflected on how the controversies that surrounded IVD ultimately shaped her capacity to love deeply. She spoke about the emotional strength she developed and the sacrifices she’s made along the way.
"I did not know how to love so hard, but the controversy around you hardened me and made me understand sacrifices, temptation, tests and for better or worse," she said. "I went through worse before the better so I guess I was prepared to love you so hard."
She credited IVD for reviving a part of her that she thought was long gone. “You touched a part I taught had d!ed long time ago, you woke up what I buried long time ago, you dug it up, dusted it and brought it to life. THE BABY in me,” she shared.
Blessing further expressed that with IVD, she feels safe enough to let go of her public persona and just be herself. “With you, I am a child. I forget my status, brand, name, and bank account. I let everything go just to be babied by you.”
In closing her tribute, she showered IVD with gratitude and affirmed her deep love for him. “Thank you. Na MAN you be. You are the one man I am going to love so hard again, and I pray you are the last. Happy birthday boo-boo.”
